Adverse effects Ursodesoxycholic acid Mylan
Very weakly soluble in the colon, ursodeoxycholic acid has no irritating action on the colonic mucosa; cases of diarrhea are therefore very rare.
An increase in pruritus can be observed at the beginning of treatment in cases of severe cholestasis. This is why it is recommended to start treatment in such patients with a dose of 250 mg / day.
