Help, I sweat too much !

The arrival of summer delight some ... and panic of others! Because that says good days, also says rise of the temperature and excessive perspiration.

Indeed, some people are more prone to the natural phenomenon of sweating. Sometimes even, the magnitude of the thing turns into a real social handicap. Including in winter.

Excessive perspiration, excessive sweating, sweating, hyper sweating, hyperhidrosis ... Focus on a subject that we do not address easily and which, however, creates a real embarrassment for many people throughout the year. From causes to treatments, with dermato tips and a bonus testimonial: declare the war against excessive perspiration!

What is perspiration?

The body of each human being is covered with several million sweat glands that are located everywhere on the skin, especially in the armpits, forehead, feet and hands.

As their name suggests, these glands are responsible for sweating, a natural process that aims - among other things - to remove water and certain constituents (such as mineral salts) from the body by through sweat.

Evaporation or maceration

The evaporation of this sweat will allow the body to regulate its temperature. While evaporating, she will refresh the body. The evacuated sweat is 99% water. It is odorless as such, but when it comes in contact with the many bacteria on the surface of the skin, a maceration phenomenon can occur, which creates an unpleasant odor.

Sweating can be triggered in case of high outdoor temperature of course, when the physical activity of the body increases, but also in case of fever, intense stress, or during hormonal fluctuations (pregnancy, menopause), or sometimes even in case of specific pathology.

Sweating: the causes of a change of sweat

It masks its smell with deodorants or antiperspirants, yet perspiration is an indicator of health. Stronger odors, why?
