  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) baked pie crust
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thickened, 5 to 10 minutes.
