Body care has always been a ritual that combines hygiene, care and relaxation.
Faster and more energizing than the bath, the shower is ideal for waking up. Apply shampoo, conditioner and hair mask first to give them time to act.
Use mild cleansers so you do not destroy the natural protection of your skin. At the end of the shower, take a stream of fresh water from the lower body upwards to tone the tissues and stimulate circulation.
The art of bathing
The bath is often criticized for being unhygienic and softening the tissues. However, well done, it has virtues: at less than 20 ° C, it activates the circulation; at 25 ° C, it tones the tissues and helps to overcome water retention. At 37 ° C, the bath soothes, relaxes, relieves aches; at this temperature it will be limited to 15 minutes.
By choosing a good product, the bath becomes a real moment of care. Think of essential oils (lavender for a de-stressing effect, eucalyptus an energizing effect ...) that make bathing a real pleasure.
Water limestone, hair removal, rubbing clothes, hormonal fluctuations ... the hydro-lipid film, responsible for protecting the skin, is continually attacked. Daily hydration is therefore essential, whatever the age, as a preventive or restorative measure. Milk, oil, cream: the choice is vast, but opt for care enriched with antioxidants (vitamin B5 for example) and nutrients (vitamin B5, shea).
In winter, the cold blocks the process of cellular oxygenation. Result: the hydro-lipidic film is weakened. To strengthen it, it is more than ever necessary to moisturize the skin daily. Choose thick creams based on nourishing ingredients (shea butter, beeswax, glycerine), to be penetrated by energetic massages.
