Dosage PEDIAVEN AP-HP CHILD G20 Solution for infusion Box of 4 Pockets of 1000 ml

- The dosage is individual and varies according to age, weight, metabolic and energy needs, as well as the clinical condition of the patient.
- As an indication, in children, an average of 10 to 15 grams / kg / day of glucose is required at an hourly flow rate of 1 to 1.2 g / kg / hour and 200 to 300 mg / kg / day of nitrogen.
- PEDIAVEN AP-HP CHILD G20 must be administered at a maximum hourly rate of 6 ml / kg / h.
- This nutrient solution can be supplemented, on the express condition of having first verified the validity of the combination and the stability of the final mixture.
- In case of supplementation, the additions must be carried out under strict aseptic conditions, with specialties whose compatibility has been tested.
It is preferable that the addition of a lipid emulsion is not carried out directly in the bag or in the tubing because of the risk of destabilization of the lipid emulsion by the divalent cations contained in the solution.
