How do you live in the 21st century when you have the HIV virus, in other words when you are HIV-positive?
4 touching testimonies
We collected testimonials from four HIV-positive people who confide in themselves, explaining how they learned about their HIV status. They also talk about the first steps towards the doctors, the reaction of their entourage, in the professional environment ... and all the difficulties met because of their seropositivity.
Through their testimony, they convey essential messages for everyone!
This is what Chantal, Guillaume, Elise and Damien tell us.
Read these testimonials at once full of emotions, with anger sometimes, and especially that teach us a lot.
The importance of early detection
Unfortunately, there are still too many people living with HIV unknowingly and discovering their HIV status very late ... when the virus has progressed to the AIDS stage, or "Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome", that is, say the late form of HIV infection.
Today, most new infections are linked to people with the virus who are unaware of their HIV status. Hence the importance of early detection that allows HIV-positive people to be treated early, and to avoid new contagions.
